Maggie Chamberlin Holben, Principal Accredited in Public Relations (APR), Certified Industry Analyst Relations Practitioner
(CIARP)
Maggie
Holben specializes in media relations, the strategies and tactics necessary to achieve impactful editorial placements in international,
national, trade and local media - both traditional outlets and the social media channels, including blogs. She is the prinicipal
owner of Denver-based Absolutely Public Relations, the PR consulting firm she founded in 1999. With more than 25 years experience,
Holben is accredited by the Public Relations Society of America and is a member of its Counselors Academy. She holds a B.A.
in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma and has taught both advertising and public relations on the university level.
Holben currently chairs the Communications Committee for the Colorado BioScience Association and is a past two-term director
for the trade association. In addition she is a board member for the Denver-based Cat Care Society (CCS), providing pro bono
media relations services for the organization. The first PR campaign Holben's Absolutely PR provided CCS was in April 2011
for the 'Tails of the Painted Cats' Launch and 30th Anniversary Celebration. Before joining the CCS board, Holben had been
